Saw mill
Wood processing in Tamsweg, in Salzburg’s Lungau UNESCO-Biosphere Reserve.
The exceptional location over 1,000 m above sea level makes the trees grow slowly and ensures a structure with particularly small annual growth rings. The wood grows in the protected mountain locations of Salzburg’s Lungau region and is felled mainly in winter. This guarantees a high-quality starting product for further processing in our facility.
The log wood comes exclusively from PEFC-certified forests. These forests are managed sustainably and in line with special ecological and economic criteria.
We process spruce fir, larch and stone pine.
The sawn timber is dried gently in the air or in our drying kilns to the customer’s required moisture content.
Due to the flexibility in our production, we can respond precisely to our customers’ wishes.
We routinely deal with special dimensions, small batches and picked loads.
Our large sawn timber warehouse enables us to guarantee short delivery periods for our standard products.
On-time delivery and homogeneous sorting make us a reliable supplier.
Long-term and trusting relationships with our customers and suppliers are the cornerstone of our success. That’s something we’re proud of.
